SAP Solution Architect – FICO / PP
NEXEL by Logic is seeking a SAP Solution Architect – FICO / PP to join our Technology & AI department and lead the design of enterprise SAP solutions for clients across the GCC. In this role, you will shape finance, controlling, production planning, and integrated business process architectures that support operational excellence, better decision-making, and scalable digital transformation.
You will work with consultants, data specialists, AI teams, and client stakeholders across Dubai, Riyadh, and Cairo to translate business priorities into robust SAP solution designs. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines deep SAP functional expertise with consulting judgement, strong stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver practical solutions in complex regional environments.

Key Responsibilities
You will lead the end-to-end solution architecture for SAP FICO and PP workstreams across transformation, implementation, rollout, and optimisation projects.
You will translate business requirements into scalable SAP designs covering finance, controlling, product costing, manufacturing, production planning, and integrated supply chain processes.
You will advise clients on SAP best practices while aligning solutions with local operating models, regulatory requirements, and sector-specific constraints.
You will design and validate integration points between FICO, PP, MM, SD, QM, PM, and relevant third-party systems.
You will facilitate workshops with finance, operations, production, supply chain, and executive stakeholders to define current-state challenges and future-state processes.
You will produce solution blueprints, functional specifications, configuration guidance, process flows, architecture documents, and decision papers.
You will guide functional consultants, technical teams, data teams, and AI analytics specialists to ensure solution integrity across design, build, test, and deployment phases.
You will support SAP S/4HANA assessments, migration planning, fit-to-standard analysis, and roadmap development for clients at different stages of SAP maturity.
You will identify opportunities to improve reporting, planning, profitability analysis, cost visibility, and production efficiency through SAP-enabled processes and analytics.
You will manage solution risks, design decisions, dependencies, and issue resolution in collaboration with project managers and client leadership.
You will contribute to NEXEL’s Technology & AI knowledge base by developing reusable assets, accelerators, templates, and point-of-view material for SAP-enabled transformation.
Requirements
8+ years of SAP experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP FICO and solid exposure to SAP PP, including at least two full-cycle SAP implementations or major transformation programmes.
Proven experience designing SAP S/4HANA or ECC solutions across finance, controlling, production planning, product costing, and integrated manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of cross-module integration with MM, SD, QM, PM, CO-PA, inventory management, procurement, sales, and financial reporting.
Experience working in consulting or client-facing delivery roles, with the ability to run workshops, challenge requirements, and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of GCC business practices, including regional finance operations, VAT considerations, statutory reporting expectations, and localisation needs in markets such as the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
Experience delivering projects for organisations in the GCC or wider MENA region, with an understanding of multicultural stakeholder environments and regional implementation dynamics.
Ability to convert complex business problems into structured solution designs, implementation roadmaps, and practical delivery plans.
Strong documentation skills, including process design, functional specifications, solution architecture, gap analysis, and executive-level recommendations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in English; Arabic language capability is an advantage.
SAP certification in FICO, PP, or S/4HANA is preferred, along with exposure to analytics, reporting, or AI-enabled operational improvement initiatives.
